At halftime, the sky lit up as hundreds of synchronised drones painted the air with Indigenous-inspired patterns, cultural storytelling, and Brisbane Lions imagery. Paired with close-proximity fireworks and flame effects, the result was a breath-taking fusion of tradition and technology – celebrating both First Nations culture and our great game.

The drone light show was carefully choreographed to a soundtrack blending didgeridoo, electronic orchestral layers, and contemporary Australian music.

Each formation was designed to reflect the spirit of AFLW, community, and country, giving fans a moment to look up in awe together.

Technically, the show featured cutting-edge GPS-guided drones, operating in perfect sync with the pyrotechnics on the roof of the stadium. Delivering a display of this scale inside a stadium required precision planning, rigorous safety testing, and the expertise of world-class show operators.

The result?

A first-of-its-kind halftime spectacular drone light show, in Brighton Homes Arena, that set a new benchmark for AFLW entertainment.
